Its just a number.
Its doesn’t define me.
But it does scream. It yells eat your vegetables. Do not drive through Dunkin this week.
Its just a number it.
It doesnt define me.
But it does scream. Its says those pants don’t fit like they used to. That shirt doesn’t look quite right today.
Its just a number.
It doesn’t define me.
But it does scream. It begs you to get off the couch. To lace up those shoes again. To put one foot in front of the other and move.
It screams Get Back Out There!

I have that number too! It’s off week for my boot camp and it always seems to come when I most desperately need it personally or professionally, but I still feel the screaming voice to tell me to move.

Such a relevant topic for so many. Awesome structure! It’s the powerful mind at work…you want to believe (talk yourself into) that it’s just a number and it doesn’t define you, yet you know your actions must change because it does have control right now – as it scream at you! Thanks for sharing! It’s so comforting to know others deal with the same issues and even better when you can read an awesome, creative slice about it! Well done!

You put beautifully into words the frustrations many of us feel. I know I should listen to the screams more often. But do they ever really go away?

Oh, I know that number, too. I fight with that number every Friday morning.
Loved this!

“It’s just a number…it doesn’t define me.” Such a simple, true statement, yet one I, and many others, struggle with daily! Great allusion!

I need to get moving as well. That number truly defines me when I am trying to put on those fitted jeans. Let’s get moving together.

It’s just a number. You look fantastic. So eff the number. That’s probably not what you’re looking for, but it is. Still I’ve been there too and it’s hard all the same. I do like how you moved the number into empowerment at the end. 🙂

Love this slice! Love the structure created by the repetition! I try not to pay attention to numbers, but sometimes the motivation of a little scream is just what I need!
